This Privacy Policy explains which personal data the orthodontic clinic iOrtho Yerevan (the "Clinic", "we") collects, why we collect it and what rights you have. The Policy follows the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Protection of Personal Data" and other legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

Data controller: iOrtho Yerevan, Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. For any question about your personal data, write to .

1. What data we collect

We process only the data you send us through the website and the minimal technical data needed to run it:

  • Consultation booking and callback form: name, phone number, e-mail (if given), preferred contact channel (call, WhatsApp, Viber), message text, the page the request was sent from.
  • Reviews: name, review text, rating, photo (if you choose to add one).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, date and time of the visit, pages viewed. This data is collected by cookies and analytics services only with your consent (see "Cookies").

We do not ask for health information on the website. Medical information is recorded only during an in-person visit to the Clinic, as required by healthcare legislation.

2. Why we use the data

  • consultation booking and callbacks: to contact you through the channel you chose and confirm the appointment time;
  • answering your questions and requests;
  • publishing reviews on the website — only with your consent and only to the extent you provided;
  • improving the website and analysing traffic — only if you accept analytics cookies;
  • complying with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

We do not use your data for newsletters without separate consent and do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

3. Legal basis

  • your consent — when you submit the booking form, a review, or accept analytics cookies;
  • the need to fulfil your request (to conclude and perform a contract for medical services);
  • obligations imposed on the Clinic by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to . Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

4. Who may receive the data

  • Messengers (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram) — if you chose them as your contact channel; messages in a messenger are governed by that service's policy;
  • Hosting provider and technical contractors maintaining the website — to the extent needed to run it, under a contract with a confidentiality obligation;
  • Analytics services (for example Google Analytics) — only with your consent to analytics cookies; their servers may be located outside the Republic of Armenia;
  • Public authorities — in cases expressly provided by law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

  • consultation and callback requests — 12 months after the request is handled, unless you become a patient of the Clinic; in that case the data is kept as part of the medical records for the periods set by healthcare legislation;
  • reviews — until you ask us to remove them;
  • technical and analytics data — for the periods set in the respective service, but no longer than 26 months.

After the retention period the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies

The website uses two kinds of cookies:

  • Necessary — keep the website working (for example, remember the chosen language and your choice in the cookie banner). They do not require consent.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the website. They are enabled only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner.

You may withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time by changing your choice in the banner or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may break parts of the website.

7. How we protect the data

We apply organisational and technical safeguards: encrypted transfer (HTTPS), access limited to authorised staff, rate limits on form submissions, regular backups and software updates.

8. Your rights

Under the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Protection of Personal Data" you have the right to:

  • be informed which of your data we process and for what purpose;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have data deleted or blocked if its processing is unlawful or no longer necessary for the stated purpose;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • object to processing;
  • lodge a complaint with the authorised body for personal data protection of the Republic of Armenia (the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the RA) or with a court.

To exercise your rights, send a request to . We will reply within the period set by law. To protect your data we may ask you to confirm your identity.

9. Children

The website forms are intended for persons over 18. A child is booked for a consultation by a parent or legal representative, who provides their own contact details.

10. Changes to this Policy
